The Davey Tree Expert Company is the North American leader in residential tree care, utility right-of-way management, commercial landscape services, and urban forestry / natural resource consulting with operations throughout the US and Canada. The Davey Institute supports Davey’s North American operations through research and development, environmental programs, technical support, and education and training. **Job Duties** + Process and log in plant, soil, and insect samples. + Lab organization and cleaning. + Lab equipment maintenance. + Assist with diagnosing insect and disease problems of plants. + Computer literacy and proficiency with Microsoft programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel). + Ability to work independently and as part of a team. + Excellent written and oral communication skills. + Strong organizational skills, time management, and attention to detail. **Qualifications** Qualifications: Enrollment or future enrollment in a relevant college program such as biology, botany, forestry, entomology, environmental science, horticulture, plant pathology, or related field. **Divisional Overview** The Davey Tree Expert Company is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
