Plant Controller

Plant Controller needed in Medley FL! This is a permanent role with bonus offered! Must be comfortable working in the manufacturing setting! Key Responsibilities:
+ Manage all accounting operations including cost accounting, inventory accounting, and budgeting.
+ Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
+ Monitor plant performance metrics and provide variance analysis against budget and forecasts.
+ Lead the annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes for the plant.
+ Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
+ Partner with operations to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve financial performance.
+ Oversee physical inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.
+ Support internal and external audits.
+ Develop and mentor plant finance staff.
Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or MBA preferred).
+ 5+ years of experience in financial management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
+ Strong knowledge of cost accounting and inventory management.
+ Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel.
+ Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
+ Ability to work collaboratively across departments and lead a team.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $57.00 - $62.00/hr.
