Plant Administrative Assistant Job Description The role involves supporting plant operations through various administrative tasks, ensuring smooth functioning and efficiency within the plant environment. Responsibilities + Operate scales for weighing company, customer, and third-party trucks. + Process vendor invoices and purchase orders efficiently. + Provide administrative support for plant management. + Compile, enter, and report payroll and production statistics accurately. + Track finished goods inventory, equipment utilization, plant costs, and labor hours. + Purchase necessary parts and safety supplies. + Maintain fuel inventory and equipment downtime reports. + Handle month-end accruals and reporting. + Process personnel changes and maintain accurate files. + Conduct timekeeping using Kronos. Essential Skills + Proven experience in administrative assistance. + Proficiency in accounts payable. + Strong customer service skills. + Office management capabilities. + Data entry proficiency. + Experience with Kronos and Oracle systems. Additional Skills & Qualifications + 2-3 years of relevant experience. + Experience in payroll processing for a team of 13 people. + Familiarity with Payroll ERP: KRONOS is preferred. + Knowledge of Accounting ERP systems such as Oracle or JD Edwards. + Basic proficiency in Excel. Work Environment The position is fully onsite, working Monday through Friday from either 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM or 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM. The team is known for being very tight-knit, fostering a supportive and collaborative work atmosphere. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.50/hr.
