Description Responsible for supporting the strategic and business planning processes for Emory Healthcare and the Woodruff Health Sciences Center through research, data analysis, preparation of reports and coordination of planning efforts for programs and servicesThe position assists in the development of strategic, business, and program plans for priority initiatives; annual planning cycle activities and projects; external and internal environmental assessments; planning retreat facilitation; and other planning activities as assigned The successful candidate will demonstrate critical thinking, problem solving skills, the ability to gather, analyze, synthesize, and interpret complex quantitative and qualitative data into organized, clear, concise reports and effective presentationsSuccessful candidates will also demonstrate strong written and oral communication skills through the identification of key observations of data analysis, interviews, or researchSuccessful candidates will have the ability to juggle multiple project deadlines and use project timelines, work plans, and tools and know when to ask manager(s) for guidanceThe position requires the ability to both work independently and work effectively in a team environmentTechnical proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is requiredMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field and a minimum of 3 years of healthcare experience, including at least 1 year in a strategic planning, business development, or analytical roleOr a Master's degree (MHA, MHSA, MBA, MPH, or MS in Data, Analytics, or Informatics) and a minimum of 2 years of healthcare experience, including at least 1 year in a strategic planning, business development, market research, healthcare consulting, analytical role or a related areaPreferred Qualifictions:
