Your role and responsibilities (Mandatory)

In this role, you will have the opportunity to gain vocational experience through a temporary work placement. Each day, you will acquire knowledge by performing tasks as directed. You will also showcase your expertise by supporting ABB’s operations and enhancing personal education/employment opportunities.

The work model for the role is: on site

This role is contributing to the electrification division in México.

You will be mainly accountable for:

Support the development and maintenance of production and fulfillment plans under the guidance of the Planning & Fulfillment team.Assist in analyzing production schedules, material availability, and delivery dates aligned with the master plan.Monitor basic operational and production performance indicators and help identify deviations or risks.Support data collection and reporting related to backlog, shortages, and delivery performance.Communicate identified capacity or material constraints to the Planning & Fulfillment team for further action.Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to planning, scheduling, and fulfillment processes.

Qualifications for the role (Mandatory)

Educational Background

Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.

​Experience

No prior professional experience required.Internship or academic project experience in manufacturing, planning, or supply chain is a plus.

Technical Knowledge

Basic to intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel (formulas, data analysis; pivot tables desirable).Basic understanding of ERP systems; SAP (PP or MM modules) is a plus but not mandatory.

Languages

Intermediate to advanced English (ability to read documentation and communicate with cross-functional or international teams).
