As a Financial Analyst in our Finance team, you will spend each day defining, refining and delivering set goals for our firm
You will be responsible for one of our key financial measures such as revenues, expenses, headcount, or profitability modelling, where you will be expected to deliver value-added financial reporting and analysis, and assist with strategic direction and decision making. You will be expected to provide leadership across the FP&A teams, and interact regularly with the FP&A Managers, the line of business CFOs and peers across Finance & Business Management and the business.
Job Responsibilities:
Acting as Expense exception Approver (EEA) for business reviewing Expense exceptions and taking appropriate actionAddressing expense related queries in line with expense policies, contributing to expense initiatives and reviews, setting up and managing expense approval limits on smart approval Managing annual/continual financial planning activities for product areas, providing business rationale and decisions for all month-end financial performance and forecasting, conducting reviews and analysis on product financial performance, consumption/demand planning, budgeting, billing, trends, and exception reportsCalculate and consolidate the month-end results, the forecast for the remainder of the year, and the budget for future yearsPerform variance analysis to understand the key drivers of the results and provide commentary explaining changes from prior forecasts/budgetsProduce weekly/monthly/quarterly and adhoc reporting of the results and drivers for senior managementEnhance controls and streamline processes, introducing automation where possibleWork on projects to drive global consistency and create synergies across the teamManaging Regulatory reporting – QC for CCAR, Lead bank reporting, International reportingRequired qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a subject of a technical natureInquisitive, enthusiastic and diligent, and capable of challenging peersStrong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex issues clearlyHighly motivated and able to thrive and think clearly under pressure and tight deadlinesIntegrity in handling highly sensitive and confidential informationTeam player with the ability to be respected as a trusted partner for the Business, Finance, and FP&A TeamsPreferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Experience in creating Tableau dashboards, Python and Alteryx is a mustAdvanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint, preferably with experience of Hyperion Essbase and MS Access.
