Team Overview and Job Responsibilities

 

Prysmian is looking for a Planning Analyst to join our Plant based in Heredia, Costa Rica, under the supervision of the S&OP Coordinator. This role will be responsible for administrative tasks related to planning and logistics finished goods activities. The chosen candidate will work in collaboration with the Supply Chain team, as well as Sales, Production and Procurement departments to assure the customer’s needs are fulfilled.

 

Responsibilities

Stablish and checking plant’s production schedule.Plan and adjust the monthly volume output forecast.Support the logistics execution team.Keep a safe finish goods stock at the plant & forecast consumption for following months.Ensure good synergy and collaboration between supply chain, production, and quality departments.Take care of assigned reports.

 

Who are we looking for? 

 

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business, Engineering or related field.3 years of experience in planning and analysis activities in Supply Chain or Operations (manufacturing, distribution, materials management, etc.)Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Power BI etc.)Intermediate to advanced English level.Experience with SAP (desirable)Solid experience with databases and digital systemsResults-driven, focused on improvement in cycle times, service and inventory turns.Ability to plan, organize and pull together information from different sources to form a coherent picture of the current state and determine actions plans.Adaptability.Influence skill to persuade different functional groups within the organization.Strong verbal and written communication skills a must.
