Scheduler – Nuclear Projects (Primavera P6)Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Scheduler to support nuclear project work at an active site in Palo, Iowa. This is a 1‑year contract role offering daily per diem, ideal for a scheduler with Primavera P6 experience who thrives in a regulated, safety‑focused environment. While nuclear project experience is preferred, candidates with strong scheduling backgrounds in other complex or highly regulated industries will be considered. Key Responsibilities + Develop, maintain, and update detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 + Integrate engineering, procurement, construction, and outage activities into a cohesive master schedule + Perform schedule logic reviews, critical path analysis, and progress updates + Identify schedule risks, impacts, and recovery strategies + Support planning meetings and coordination sessions with project and field teams + Prepare schedule reports and presentations for project stakeholders + Ensure scheduling practices align with nuclear quality, safety, and regulatory requirements + Track milestones, deliverables, and performance metrics throughout the project lifecycle Required Qualifications + Proven experience as a Project Scheduler using Primavera P6 + Experience supporting large, complex projects (nuclear, power generation, utilities, heavy industrial, oil & gas, or similarly regulated environments) + Strong understanding of CPM scheduling principles + Ability to work onsite in Palo, Iowa for the duration of the assignment + Strong communication skills and comfort working with multidisciplinary teams Preferred Qualifications + Prior nuclear project or outage experience + Familiarity with earned value, progress measurement, and schedule risk analysis + Experience working under strict safety and quality programs + Knowledge of engineering, construction, or maintenance scheduling in power or industrial settings Why This Role + Long‑term, stable 12‑month contract + Daily per diem + Opportunity to support critical nuclear infrastructure projects + Work within a highly disciplined, professional project environment Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Palo, IA.
