Planner Scheduler - Intermediate

Our client, an Automotive and Aviation Manufacturer, is seeking a Scheduler/Planner to join their team **.** As a Scheduler/Planner, you will be part of the Manufacturing Operations department supporting the aircraft assembly team. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Scheduler/Planner
**Location** : Oxford, GA
**Pay Range:** $31-$34.50/hour
**What’s the Job?**
+ Define daily and weekly production activities by assessing engineering, quality, and operations data
+ Collaborate with logistics, engineering, and quality teams to resolve operational roadblocks
+ Track and report on key production metrics such as build progress, labor hours, and defect resolution
+ Lead shop floor improvement initiatives and implement process enhancements
+ Serve as 2nd shift Production Supervisor as needed to support assembly operations
**What’s Needed?**
+ **Preferred** : Degree in Manufacturing Operations, Aviation Manufacturing, or Engineering
+ Minimum 3 years of production planning experience in aerospace or automotive manufacturing
+ Strong knowledge of aviation operations and manufacturing processes
+ Proficiency in Google Suite and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
+ Strong communication skills and ability to interface with all levels, including senior leadership
