**Job Title:** Planner/Scheduler III
**Location:** Edmonton, AB
Our client, an industry leader in industrial and infrastructure projects, is seeking a Planner/Scheduler III to join their team. As a Planner/Scheduler III, you will be part of the Project Controls department supporting project planning and scheduling efforts. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Description:**
+ Provide advanced Primavera P6 scheduling analysis and portfolio-level planning support for large, multi-year capital programs.
+ Consolidate and analyze schedules from multiple project teams, building integrated schedules for optimal sequencing of work.
+ Perform critical path and scenario analysis to support site optimization, outage planning, and execution feasibility.
+ Collaborate closely with Planning Engineers and Project Managers to translate field-level sequencing concepts into executable schedule logic.
+ Identify schedule conflicts, interface risks, and bottlenecks, and communicate these effectively to project teams and leadership.
**Qualifications:**
+ 4-7 years of experience in project scheduling, project controls, or planning within industrial or infrastructure projects.
+ Advanced hands-on experience with Primavera P6, including logic development, critical path analysis, and scenario modeling.
+ Strong understanding of construction sequencing and interfaces across various scopes such as mechanical, electrical, civil, and instrumentation.
+ Experience working with multiple concurrent projects and coordinating across diverse stakeholder groups.
+ Excellent organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to work with large volumes of schedule data.
