We are seeking an experienced Scheduler to support nuclear project work at an active site in Palo, Iowa. This is a 1‑year contract role offering daily per diem, ideal for a scheduler with Primavera P6 experience who thrives in a regulated, safety‑focused environment. While nuclear project experience is preferred, candidates with strong scheduling backgrounds in other complex or highly regulated industries will be considered.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, maintain, and update detailed project schedules using Primavera P6Integrate engineering, procurement, construction, and outage activities into a cohesive master schedulePerform schedule logic reviews, critical path analysis, and progress updatesIdentify schedule risks, impacts, and recovery strategiesSupport planning meetings and coordination sessions with project and field teamsPrepare schedule reports and presentations for project stakeholdersEnsure scheduling practices align with nuclear quality, safety, and regulatory requirementsTrack milestones, deliverables, and performance metrics throughout the project lifecycleRequired Qualifications
Proven experience as a Project Scheduler using Primavera P6Experience supporting large, complex projects (nuclear, power generation, utilities, heavy industrial, oil & gas, or similarly regulated environments)Strong understanding of CPM scheduling principlesAbility to work onsite in Palo, Iowa for the duration of the assignmentStrong communication skills and comfort working with multidisciplinary teamsPreferred Qualifications
