**Job Title: Planner Scheduler**
**Job Description**
The planner scheduler is responsible for maintaining the day-to-day ordering, planning, and expediting of critical materials and supplies. The role requires monitoring material master data settings, generating purchase orders, and optimizing efficiency in inventory management and shipping.
**Responsibilities**
+ Monitor and adjust material master data settings for all parts to ensure accurate safety stock and supplier contact information.
+ Determine items to be ordered, generate purchase orders, and follow up on system-proposed changes.
+ Optimize material master data and settings to enhance efficiency in order acknowledgment, production, inventory management, and shipping.
+ Monitor, analyze, and improve key performance indicators such as delivery performance, inventory, and costs.
+ Lead continuous improvement efforts in information flow between customers, sales, and supplying plants.
+ Support new product introductions and engineering changes with the sales and production teams to meet customer requirements while minimizing obsolescence risks.
+ Manage escalations with suppliers to resolve various supply chain issues.
+ Conduct data analysis to uncover improvement potentials and identify root causes of supply chain issues.
+ Perform other essential and related duties as may be assigned.
**Essential Skills**
+ 5 years of experience in Logistics Management, Supply Chain Management, Capacity Planning, Production Planning, or Purchasing.
+ 5+ years in production planning and scheduling within a manufacturing or production environment.
+ Familiarity with MS Office.
+ Proficiency with ERP systems like SAP, database software (Excel, Power BI), and data mining.
+ Customer-focused with clear communication skills across various channels (face-to-face, phone, email, Teams).
+ Ability to operate with minimal oversight, make decisions, and take calculated risks.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience in production planning, purchasing, scheduling, and manufacturing.
+ Working outside of standard office hours may be required on short notice.

**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $33.00 - $40.00/hr.
