Job Responsibilities and Duties:\n

The Electrical Planner at the Met Complex is responsible for developing and maintaining the electrical planning activities of the production facility. The planner is responsible for planning and assembling all appropriate documentation, work instructions, and BOMs needed to schedule and execute the work order process and consistently maintain a strong commitment to safety and environmental policies and procedures.\n\nFamiliarity with OSHA, the Company, other regulatory standards, and safety requirements.\nPerform regular jobsite reviews to ensure that all electrical work is completed to the required standards.\nDevelop and implement an electrical maintenance plan for the Met Complex. This includes scheduling preventive maintenance activities, performing electrical equipment testing and inspection, and managing corrective maintenance activities.\nIdentify and purchase electrical equipment, tools, and supplies needed for maintenance activities, ensuring that all equipment is purchased within budgetary constraints and is of high quality.\nResponsible for managing contractors and outside service providers who perform electrical maintenance activities. They ensure that all contractors are qualified, insured, and follow safety procedures.\nPerform safety audits and develop safety procedures to assist in minimizing the risk of electrical incidents.\nMaintain and keep accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment performance, and maintenance costs.\nWork closely with the Operational Teams to schedule electrical maintenance activities to minimize disruptions to production schedules. Ensure that all maintenance activities are completed safely and efficiently.\nWork with engineers and technicians to diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues.\nEnsure correct parts are procured and staged for scheduled preventive & predictive maintenance, and backlog repairs.\nWork with the Reliability Engineer to establish preventive maintenance criteria and create work orders for equipment. Modify preventive maintenance tasks as needed, ensure all procedures, parts list, and calibration sheets are an integral part of the work order packages.\nGenerate purchase requisitions. Assure purchase requisitions use correct account coding and are posted to the appropriate work orders for planned and scheduled tasks.\nWork closely with purchasing and warehousing to ensure stock availability, validate min\/max quantities, and manage inventory additions and deletions.\nMaintain Electrical Work Order Backlogs.\nCoordinate with other planners on multidisciplinary job plans.\nReview completed jobs to provide information for redlined drawings, parts list, job steps, etc.\n\n

Qualifications and Skills:\n

Required:\n\nStrong knowledge of electrical systems and equipment, including motors, VFDs, generators, transformers, switchgear, and NEC.\nStrong planning, analytical, and organizational skills. \nEffective written, verbal, and communication skills. \nExperience in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. \nExperience in CMMS systems with JD Edwards knowledge is a plus.\nFamiliarity with project management software.\nAbility to work efficiently with minimal supervision.\nAbility to work in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities. \nAbility to assume increasing levels of responsibility. \nConsistently maintain a strong commitment to Safety and Safe Production and Environmental objectives.\n\n

Education and Experience:\n\nHS Diploma with State Journeyman License or a degree in Electrical Engineering.\nMinimum of 3 - 5 years in mechanical\/electrical planning or other related field. \nAt least 3 years of experience working in an industrial or manufacturing environment.\n\n
