Planned Giving Manager - Part time

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Part-Time Planned Giving Manager to lead our fundraising efforts through a diversity of planned gift opportunities. This role will focus on cultivating and maintaining relationships with current and potential donors to secure long-term financial support for our charitable mission. The ideal candidate will be a passionate advocate for the organization, with a strong understanding of planned giving strategies, donor stewardship, and fundraising best practices.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in planned giving, major gifts, or development within a nonprofit setting. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in fundraising, business, or related field. Strong understanding of estate planning, tax laws, and the various planned giving instruments (e.g., bequests, charitable remainder trusts, life insurance, etc.).Proven ability to cultivate relationships with high-net-worth individuals and engage with donors at all levels.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present complex financial concepts in an accessible and compelling manner.Strong attention to detail, ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. A deep commitment to the organization's mission and values, with an enthusiasm for fundraising and donor engagement.Experience with donor management software (e.g., DonorPerfect, Raiser’s Edge) preferred.CFRE (Certified Fund Raising Executive) or other relevant certifications preferred.Knowledge of charitable giving regulations and IRS rules related to planned gifts preferred.Previous experience with organizing small donor events preferred.
