We are seeking a talented individual to lead the Marsh Placement business in the Philippines. This role will be based in Manila. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office. This role is responsible for leading the overall Placement business for the Philippines and is accountable for the commercial outcomes, future strategy and growth of the firm’s Placement function in the market including overall P&L management for this function and associated products and services. This role will provide technical and business direction to the team as well as aiding broader business initiatives in the market. Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, Philippines and leading a team of accomplished professionals, the successful candidate will be a member of the Country Executive Leadership Team and will contribute to driving Marsh’s future growth and success in the market. This role will also work closely with the Regional Placement Leader (based in Singapore). We require a leader with strong, visible and reputable leadership in the marketplace with the ability to win new business, as well as commercial acumen, technical proficiency in Placement, a deep understanding of the trends and opportunities for the business, and outstanding team leadership & management.

Yield Management:
Set yield targets and develop country yield strategy including transactional (commission) remuneration and non-transactional (Fee and Contingent) remuneration as appropriate.Implement discipline to avoid commission leakage and maximize commission revenue across all lines of business.Develop, monitor and negotiate yield management approach for each trading partner, including written agreement where appropriate.Monitor & track placement KPI’s, set commission rate cards, including transactional commission results across line of business, Carrier and segmentEngage Marsh Compliance and Legal as required for approval and transparency.Cultivate a strong and healthy relationship with Insurance Markets to ensure sustainable support for our clients.Placement Strategy:
Create and implement a Placement Strategy.Lead, support and participate in the overall business planning process.Develop and communicate the Placement value proposition to all stakeholders.Develop new products using data, market knowledge and information to identify gaps and trends.Select key trading partners / carriers at a country level to support the business and placement strategy.Develop a portfolio approach, which includes development of Facilities and Quota Shares.Ensure facilities (or other aggregated products) are utilized in country.Implement uniformity and effectiveness of the placement process.Establish Service Level Agreements with Key Carriers including Policy Issuance, invoicing, response times.Preparing placement marketing proposals for renewals as well as new business opportunities by analyzing and defining the risk exposure and coverage required.People Management:
Develop existing talent and succession plans for the organization and create career progression for key talent. Coach and mentor colleagues.Lead the Placement team to promote inclusion and development of diverse teams.What you need to have:
