We are seeking a skilled Piping Designer to join our Mechanical Power Generation Department. This role involves designing and developing detailed 3D piping models and deliverables using AutoCAD Plant 3D for industrial power generation and process-based projects. The position offers a contract-to-direct opportunity after nine months, with no degree required.
ResponsibilitiesCreate and modify 3D piping models using AutoCAD Plant 3D.Develop equipment layouts, piping routings, and supports within Plant 3D environments.Generate and maintain piping isometrics and general arrangement (GA) drawings.Collaborate closely with process, mechanical, and project engineers to ensure accurate 3D models and documentation.Essential SkillsProficiency in AutoCAD Plant 3D, PI&D, and PDMIS.Strong understanding of industrial piping systems, equipment and piping layout principles, and piping components, valves, and support.Experience in piping design, particularly in power generation, oil and gas, or chemical industries.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with Microstation, Revit, and CAD software.Familiarity with power distribution and design software.Work EnvironmentThe position requires full-time in-office work five days a week until the ability to work independently is demonstrated. Afterward, there may be opportunities for remote work one to two days a week. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $40.00 - $45.00/hr.
