Job Title: Piping DesignerJob Description

The piping designer will be responsible for creating detailed designs and layouts for piping systems, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with industry standards.

ResponsibilitiesPerform CAD design of basic equipment layouts and piping routings that align with codes, standards, and client requirements.Coordinate work with other lead designers assigned to the task.Ensure discipline leads have the correct project standards and checklists.Maintain and update the overall 3D model as required.Prepare engineering drawings and documentation.Participate in meetings with clients as requested.Essential Skills5+ years of experience in piping design or piping engineering.Proficiency in AutoCAD Plant 3D.Associate's Degree in Drafting or Design.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with Revit.Experience in preparing orthographic drawings.Experience with Navisworks.Work Environment

This is a hybrid position consisting of 3 days in the office and 2 days remote. The typical in-office days are Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Travel is limited, with no more than a week on the road and always home by the weekend. The company is a rapidly growing engineering consulting firm with a small business environment, allowing individuals to progress in their projects without the red tape of larger corporations.

The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $145600.00/yr.
