**Job Title: Pipelayer** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled pipelayer with over two years of experience in laying pipes for sanitation and storm sewers, water mains, and drains. The ideal candidate should have the ability to read and interpret blueprints, site plans, and grade stakes, and possess excellent communication and teamwork skills. A strong understanding of construction safety practices is essential. **Responsibilities** + Laying pipes for sanitation and storm sewers, water mains, and drains. + Reading and interpreting blueprints, site plans, and grade stakes. + Collaborating with team members to ensure project success. + Adhering to construction safety practices at all times. **Essential Skills** + Experience in pipelaying for at least 2 years. + Ability to read and interpret blueprints and site plans. + Knowledge of construction safety practices. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Proficiency in construction, dirt work, pipe laying, grading, and manual labor. + Experience with excavation, civil work, storm drain, heavy equipment, and backhoe operations. + Understanding of stormwater management, concrete finishing, concrete forming, and concrete pouring. + Experience with drainage, utility construction, underground utilities, wastewater, and storm systems. **Why Work Here?** We guarantee 40 hours of work each week, irrespective of weather conditions, with no travel or weekend work required. Employees generally work 50 to 55 hours per week. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Johnson City, Tennessee. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
