**šÆ About the Role**
Weāre hiring an experienced **Pipefitter** to join a skilled fabrication team building custom piping systems for industries including power generation, oil & gas, and heavy manufacturing. Youāll work handsāon with **CPVC, PVC, and industrial piping systems** , completing precision fabrication and installation work that directly supports major industrial projects.
**š Key Responsibilities**
+ Assemble, install, and maintain **industrial piping systems**
+ **Fit, glue, and install CPVC and PVC** piping according to specs
+ Cut, thread, and join piping materials accurately
+ Read and interpret **blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings**
+ **Perform inspections and pressure tests** to confirm system integrity
+ Ensure work meets **safety, regulatory, and quality standards**
+ **Keep work area clean, organized, and compliant with PPE requirements**
+ **Collaborate with supervisors and mentor lessāexperienced pipefitters**
**ā Must Haves**
+ Proven experience as a **pipefitter** in industrial or manufacturing environments
+ Strong handsāon experience with **CPVC and PVC** plastic fittings
+ Knowledge of cutting, threading, joining, and industrial piping methods
+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints and piping schematics
+ Familiarity with safety practices and proper PPE use
+ Ability to lift and position materials throughout the shift
**ā Additional (Nice to Have)**
+ Trade certifications (pipefitting, plumbing, mechanical)
+ Basic troubleshooting for flow issues, alignment, and system performance
+ Strong communication skills when coordinating with supervisors and fabrication teams
+ Ability to work independently while maintaining accuracy and quality

**š Work Environment**
+ Industrial fabrication shop specializing in customāengineered piping and system builds
+ Work alongside experienced tradespeople and fabricators
+ Open, wellāventilated production floor (not climateācontrolledāseasonal variation expected)
+ Standing, bending, lifting, and handling materials throughout the shift
+ PPE required at all times due to active fabrication and assembly work

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Buffalo, NY.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $30.00/hr.
