**Job Title:** Pipefitter **Job Description** We are seeking an experienced pipefitter to install, assemble, maintain, and repair mechanical piping systems for commercial and industrial projects. The ideal candidate will be skilled in reading blueprints, measuring and fabricating pipe, performing field installation, and ensuring all work meets safety, quality, and code compliance standards. + Install, assemble, and repair mechanical piping systems. + Read and interpret blueprints and isometric drawings. + Measure, cut, thread, weld, or solder pipes. + Install valves, hangers, supports, and fixtures. + Troubleshoot leaks, pressure issues, and system performance. + Ensure compliance with OSHA safety practices and use of hand/power tools. **Essential Skills** + 3+ years of pipefitting or mechanical trades experience. + Strong knowledge of piping materials, fittings, valves, and threading. + Experience with HVAC, boilers, mechanical rooms, or hydronic systems. + Ability to lift 50–75 lbs and perform physically demanding work. + Basic tools and reliable transportation. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Welding, brazing, or soldering experience (preferred). **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Jersey City, NJ. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $37.00/hr.
