Description
\n\t\t\t\t\t•\tLay out, assemble, install, or maintain pipe systems, pipe supports, or related hydraulic or pneumatic equipment for steam, hot water, heating, cooling, lubricating, sprinkling, or industrial production or processing systems.\n•\tStudy blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine the type of pipe and tools to use, and lay out the sequence of tasks\n•\tMeasure, cut, thread, groove, bend, assemble and install metal, plastic and fiberglass pipes, valves and fittings\n•\tJoin pipe sections, related equipment and secure in position\n•\tUse testing equipment to check systems for leaks\n•\tDrill and punch holes in metal, for screws, bolts, and rivets.\n•\tTrim, file, grind, deburr, buff, and smooth surfaces, seams, and joints of assembled parts, using hand tools \nand various power tools.\n•\tWilling to cross-train and perform the work of other job tasks in addition to the primary assigned position.

\n\t\t\t\t\t•\tPossess a suitable combination of education and experience to meet the requirements of this position\n•\tMust be a Pipe Fitter/Steamfitter Journeyman by trade \n•\tMinimum of 1 – 3 years industrial experience is preferred\n•\tMust be able to work with various hand tools and operate an industrial powered fork truck\n•\tDemonstrated proficiency reading and interpreting work orders and drawings.
