**Pipefitter in the Greater Memphis Area ( North MS, East Arkansas and Memphis)** **Job Description** The pipefitter will be responsible for interpreting ISOs and blueprints to determine the pipe layout, including how the piping is laid out and its intended function. The pipefitter will cut pipes to the correct length using saws and other hand tools and lay out the piping on the rack or pipe stand with the correct fittings, ensuring everything is prepared for the welder. The role involves working with butt weld joints and socket weld joints, grinding piping to prepare it for welding, and using tape measures, levels, and two-hole pins. Employees must have their own hood, steel toes, and can bring their own tools and gloves. Working hours are 6:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday to Thursday, with overtime as needed. Travel to job sites is required, with compensation for gas and a per diem for overnight stays **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of West Memphis, AR. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
