**Job Title: Pipefitter** **Job Description** We are seeking experienced pipefitters with a minimum of five years’ experience in industrial and process piping systems, specifically focusing on hospital, industrial, and heavy institutional installations. Candidates should possess a comprehensive understanding of industry standards and code-compliant construction practices, along with the ability to read and interpret blueprints. Experience with stainless steel, carbon steel, heating and cooling lines, chiller and boiler installations, and mechanical room or central utility plant setups is required. Applicants must demonstrate proficiency in copper sweating and brazing during the application process. **Responsibilities** + Install and maintain industrial and process piping systems. + Focus on hospital, industrial, and heavy institutional installations. + Adhere to industry standards and code-compliant construction practices. + Read and interpret blueprints accurately. + Work with stainless steel, carbon steel, and other materials. + Set up and hook up chiller and boiler systems. + Operate within mechanical rooms or central utility plants. + Demonstrate copper sweating and brazing skills. **Essential Skills** + Minimum five years of industrial pipefitting experience. + Familiarity with bevel joints, stainless steel, and carbon steel. + Ability to read and interpret blueprints. + Experience with Scot 40 steel at 8, 6, and 4 inches. + Proficiency in pipe welding and fitting. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + OSHA 10-hour certification required prior to start date. + Experience working with prints and using a pipe spool. **Why Work Here?** You will be part of an employee-owned company, enjoying a generous ESOP program with stock contributions equal to 12% of your gross earnings. The schedule includes working Monday through Saturday, with four ten-hour days and two eight-hour days. Basic hand tools such as drive sockets, levels, wrenches, and squares are required, while other tools and equipment will be provided. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rochester, New York. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
