Job Description
This position involves working on naval vessels, where you will lay out, align, and prepare piping systems. You will thread pipes and ensure compliance protocols are met for systems including steam, water, and gas. Additionally, you will tac weld and assist welders in connecting multi-stage piping systems, as well as clean and refurbish old systems.

Work Environment
The work will take place at BAE, Nassco, and Navy Base locations, with potential support at Little Creek, MHI, NNSY, and other local installations requiring DBIDS. Candidates must be willing to travel to various yards as needed. Multiple jobs will be run concurrently, and OSHA and VSRA certifications are necessary. Employment can commence pending DBIDS clearance.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $28.00/hr.
