**Description** **Tradesmen International** is immediately hiring a skilled **Pipefitter Laborer** for projects located in **Fayetteville, NC** . This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is **$21-23/hour** based on experience and skill level. If you are a Pipefitter Laborer eager to grow and learn in the trades alongside our accomplished Craft Professionals, this is your chance to further your career! **Job Scope:** + Assemble, connect and construct water and sewer pipeline systems to the correct depth and grade + Direct operator in trench excavation to grade bottom + Level trench bottom and spread stabilization stone with shovel + Guide suspended pipe into trenches, unhook cables or strap slings and dig under pipe to allow removal of sling + Arrange pump hoses to remove water + Partially backfill by shoveling or dumping direct and stone beside the newly laid pipe joint and tamps or compacts backfill as required + Install sheeting and shoring + Help build and repair concrete inverts in manholes + Perform other duties as assigned **Requirements** + High school diploma or GED with 3+ months of related experience or training + Ability to read and understand simple instructions, short correspondences, memos, blueprints and maps + Knowledge of construction and pipe fitting techniques + Knowledge of sewer systems, storm drains and water mains + Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen **Company Details** Tradesmen International not only offers consistent work, top pay, and employment opportunities, we also provide a benefits package that is among the best in the industry.
