**Description** Tradesmen International is immediately hiring skilled **Journeyman Pipefitters** for projects located in and around **Irvine, CA** . This is a full time opportunity with a pay rate of **$28-36/hour** based on experience & skill level. If you are a Pipefitter and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career! **Job Scope:** + Installation of underground utilities + Excavate & prepare trenches for installation of storm drain, sewer, & water lines + Install large-diameter pipe systems, including but not limited to reinforced concrete pipe, ductile iron, HDPE, & PVC materials + Set manholes, catch basins, inlets, valves, hydrants, & other appurtenances as required by design documents + Grade & elevation control + Interpret & maintain correct grades and slopes per engineered drawings & specifications to ensure proper flow & functionality + Operate & setup grade lasers, levels, & other optical surveying tools to maintain pipe installation accuracy + Read & interpret civil plans + Read & comprehend civil engineering drawings, detail sheets, & project specifications + Identify utility alignments, invert elevations, & connection points as shown in construction documents + Other tasks as assigned **Requirements:** + Understanding of Grade & Slope + Solid Understanding of Civil Construction Practices rather than Traditional Plumbing + Must have Experience with Municipal, Commercial, or Infrastructure-scale piping installation **Company Details** Tradesmen International not only offers consistent work, top pay, and employment opportunities, we also provide a benefits package that is among the best in the industry.
