**Pipefitter IN NEW ALBANY WITH PER DIEM** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled and experienced Pipefitter to join our team at a new build data center in New Albany, OH. This position offers travelers $100 per day worked and competitive hourly pay ranging from $28 to $35 per hour. **Responsibilities** + Consult blueprints, work orders, or instructions to determine pipe layouts and connections. + Weld, cut, bend, thread, solder, and fit pipes with precision. + Bolt pipes and hang hangers securely. + Attach pipes and piping systems to walls using brackets, bracket systems, or clamps. + Cut or bore holes as needed prior to project execution. + Inspect pipes, test for pressure and leaks, and report or resolve any issues. **Essential Skills** + 5+ years of pipe fitting experience. + OSHA 10 or higher certification. + Scissor Lift Certification and Fall Protection Certification. + Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints. + Experience with carbon steel and stainless steel pipes. + Ability to use own hand tools effectively. **Work Environment** Work at the QTS Data Center in New Albany, OH with a schedule of Monday to Friday from 6 am to 4:30 pm, with optional Saturday work available. The role requires the use of a Type 2 hard hat, harness, and retractable safety equipment. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract position based out of New Albany, Ohio. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $35.00/hr.
