Job Description
The pipe welder will be on-site at a construction site in Morristown, IN, working on new construction projects involving stainless and carbon pipes. The role involves installing pipes, fixtures, and related systems in buildings and structures, reading blueprints, following building codes, and ensuring that systems are properly installed and functioning.
ResponsibilitiesInstall pipes, fixtures, and related systems in buildings and structures.Read and interpret blueprints to determine project specifications.Follow building codes and safety regulations to ensure proper system installation and functionality.Perform welding tasks using various techniques such as Tig and Mig welding on carbon and stainless steel.Conduct tests on installations to ensure reliability and effectiveness.Essential SkillsProficiency in Tig and Mig welding.3-5+ years of experience in pipe welding.Ability to read and interpret blueprints.Experience working with carbon and stainless steel.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with flux core welding, structure fabrication, and stick welding.Ability to pass weld tests, including a 2” Monster Coupon - 6010/7018 and a 2” sch 80 Tigged Out test.Ability to cut straps from welded sections.Why Work Here?

This position is based in an industrial construction site where safety is a top priority. Workers will be around large equipment and materials in motion and should be prepared to work in various weather conditions.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $34.00 - $34.00/hr.
