Job Description

We are seeking four skilled welders to join our team, specializing in welding on carbon steel pipes ranging from 1\" to 23\" in outer diameter. The work involves welding pipes with thicknesses between 1/4\" and 1/2\", as well as fabricating vessel-like products. The role primarily focuses on carbon steel and requires proficiency in open root MIG and flux core welding, fabricating silencers, and welding grooves on valve product lines.

Must Haves5+ years of welding experience.Proficiency in MIG and flux core welding.Ability to backgouge.Experience with welding pipes ranging from 1\" to 20\" and vessels.Fitting experience.

Responsibilities

Weld carbon steel pipes and vessel-like products.Perform open root MIG and flux core welding.Fabricate silencers and weld grooves on valve product lines.Preheat materials and backgouge before welding.Fit and weld caps onto pipes, flanges, and nozzles.Perform light fitting, including fitting shells together and attaching lifting supports or legs.Bevel and square up materials.Read blueprints and perform basic math calculations.

Work Environment

The work environment is a clean, open-aired shop. This is an open-ended contract position with the potential to extend beyond the year, depending on workload. The schedule includes working 13 days on with 1 day off, with 12-hour day and night shifts. The day shift runs from 6 am to 6 pm, and the night shift from 6 pm to 6 am, Monday through Saturday, with occasional Sundays as needed. Candidates must be comfortable with working 60+ hours a week.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $30.00/hr.
