Job Title: Pipe Welder
Job Description

We are seeking experienced Pipefitters/Welders to work on new construction and renovation projects in the Venice area. Candidates must have experience in commercial pipefitting and welding.

ResponsibilitiesPlan installation or repair of piping systems including cutting, threading, and bending.Layout, assemble, install, maintain, and repair various types of pipe systems.Mount hangers and brackets as required.Install valves, couplings, and other fittings.Essential SkillsMinimum of 5 years of commercial construction experience.Experience in soldering and brazing carbon steel pipe and copper.Proficiency in handling schedule 40 steel pipe ranging from 2.5 inches to 8 inches.Ability to read and interpret blueprints.6G certified or the ability to pass a 6G weld test.Additional Skills & QualificationsProficiency in MIG welding.Experience with pipe welding and fitting.Knowledge of blueprint reading.Experience with brazing and copper pipe welding.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fort Myers, Florida.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $34.00/hr.
