**Pipe Layer** **Paying $80.19 / HR** **Location: Portland, OR** **Responsibilities:** + Review blueprints to understand requirements + Set and modify specifications + Inspect and prepare sites for construction operations + Measure and cut pipes according to requirements + Assemble, and lubricate pipes + Install and secure pipes (e.g. with clamps) + Test functionality of hydronics and other systems + Repair malfunctions, breakages, or leaks + Use and maintain tools (e.g. pneumatic drill, saws) + Collaborate with other workers (e.g. plumbers, painters) to produce finished constructions + Follow safety guidelines and use protective equipment + Help rig pipes to get moved around the sites and dropped into location correctly **Qualifications:** + Experience in both residential and industrial settings, and with pipes of different materials (carbon, stainless steel, etc.) **Environment / Shift:** + This will be working outside in the elements and partially working inside for some installs of new lines being installed. + Will be an prevailing wage job. + 4 /10 HR shift (Mon-Thur) 6am-4:30pm. Right now there is no OT for this project. This is also a 3-4 month long project.
