Job Description
We are seeking a skilled pipefitter to install new piping for a state-of-the-art water treatment plant. You will be responsible for reading blueprints, setting specifications, and laying out plans for installation. Preparing pipes and ensuring their proper installation will be key aspects of your role. Experience in industrial settings or large commercial projects, particularly with various pipe materials such as carbon and stainless steel, is desirable. Strong mathematical and communication skills, along with a passion for seeing the systems you build come to life, are highly valued.
ResponsibilitiesReview blueprints to understand requirements.Set and modify specifications.Inspect and prepare sites for construction operations.Measure and cut pipes according to requirements.Assemble and lubricate pipes.Install and secure pipes using clamps.Test functionality of hydronics and other systems.Repair malfunctions, breakages, or leaks.Use and maintain tools such as pneumatic drills and saws.Collaborate with other workers like plumbers and painters to produce finished constructions.Follow safety guidelines and use protective equipment.Assist in rigging pipes to move them around the sites and drop them into location correctly.Essential SkillsExperience in construction and pipe laying.Ability to read and interpret blueprints.Experience with industrial installations.Proficiency in using heavy equipment.Knowledge of civil and excavation practices.Skill in brazing techniques.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in both residential and industrial settings.Familiarity with different pipe materials such as carbon and stainless steel.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
The job involves working outdoors in various weather conditions, as well as indoors for certain installations. It is a prevailing wage job with a schedule of 4/10 hour shifts from Monday to Thursday, 6am to 4:30pm. Currently, there is no overtime for this project, which is expected to last 3-4 months with the possibility of extension if there are delays.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $80.16 - $80.16/hr.
