Job Title: Pipefitter & Apprentice

Job Description

As a Pipefitter, you will be responsible for creating material lists, ordering materials, and utilizing a tablet for efficient material management. The role involves steam fitting, copper pipe installation, HVAC pipe installation, and working with threaded piping systems. You will also perform copper pipefitting, brazing, soldering, and operate a 300 machine.

ResponsibilitiesCreate and manage material lists.Order necessary materials using a tablet.Perform steam fitting tasks.Install copper, HVAC, steam, black, and groove pipes.Thread HVAC and piping systems.Conduct brazing and soldering of copper pipes.Utilize Pro Press for copper pipe installation.Read and interpret HVAC blueprints.Essential SkillsProficiency in brazing, threading, installation, and pipe fitting.Experience with copper pipe and copper lines.Ability to read HVAC blueprints and execute installations accordingly.Knowledge of operating a 300 machine.Additional Skills & QualificationsOSHA 30 certification.SST 10 certification.F60 and G60 certifications.5-10+ years of relevant experience for Pipe Fitter1+ year of experience as an HVAC/Pipe Fitter Apprentice Why Work Here?

Work Environment

The work environment includes six different mid-rise projects throughout Midtown and the Upper East Side. Working hours are from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm. It is essential to have all certifications and personal protective equipment (PPE) on hand at all times.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $40.00/hr.
