Baystate Health, a nationally recognized leader in healthcare quality and safety, and home to Baystate Medical Practices, the largest multispecialty group in the region is looking for an experienced **Registered** **Nurse** to join the **Women's Health Division**
+ Functions independently to assess develop and implement plan of care.
+ Provides independent quality triage and patient care utilizing strong assessment skills, point of care testing and quality assurance checks.
+ Establishes plan of care, sets priorities and implements the plan of care with patient/family and team/provider input.
+ Builds on knowledge and experience to include more diagnoses and complicated medical patients.
+ Demonstrates respect and advocates for the patient’s rights, values and belief systems.
+ Understands social and cultural differences that might impede patient care.
+ Perform daily scheduled patient nurse visits, Perform OBIs, New patient chart navigation and Perform daily post op calls.
+ Monitor/work all clinical and prescription pools.
+ May assist in visits and procedures for patients seeking abortion services or services for pregnancy loss such as collecting supplies, printing consents, organizing instruments, medications, and/or assisting during insertion of cervical dilators for surgical abortion procedures.”
**Required Work Experience:**
+ Massachusetts license as an RN and BLS CPR certified.
+ Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience
+ Experience in a women's health strongly preferred
+ Demonstrated interest to work with patients from diverse economic and cultural backgrounds.
+ Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
+ Must have competency in delivering exceptional nursing care and have proven success in partnering with both physicians and staff.
**Schedule and Location**
+ Location - Pioneer Women's Health OBGYN Practice 48 Sanderson Street
+ FT Monday- Friday - No Weekends No Holidays -
+ M-F 8:30-5PM
+ Sign On Bonus eligible
