**Job Title: Picker and Packer** **Job Description** This position involves working with customer orders to prepare and package parts according to specified guidelines. The role includes preparing shipments using the SAP inventory management system and efficiently placing parts from assembly into warehouse aisles. The work requires lifting between 20-50 lbs throughout the day and involves standing for 10-12 hours. Training on forklift operation may be provided. **Responsibilities** + Assist with general shipping duties, including the removal of tape, preparation of units, and weighing/packing a variety of products. + Prepare SAP shipments and assist in the paint and preparation area. + Unload incoming parts and place products within inventory. + Pull parts from inventory in preparation for gearbox and/or motor assembly. + Perform various shop-floater duties related to production expansion or production support. **Essential Skills** + At least 1 year of industrial experience in environments such as warehouses, manufacturing, assembly, shipping, or as an operator. + Strong computer skills, including the ability to navigate the internet and use RF scanners. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with preparing items for shipment. + Familiarity with working in a shipping department. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy growth opportunities with wage increases every six months for the first two years. The facility is newly expanded, clean, and equipped with a new automated paint line system. The environment is team-oriented and requires collaboration with various departments. Steel toe footwear and safety glasses are mandatory, while attire should be free of holes or tears. The plant is climate-controlled but can be hot during summer months, with moderate noise levels. All shifts are open, with the 2nd shift running Monday to Thursday from 2:30 PM to 1:30 AM. Overtime is expected, with the possibility of working 12-hour shifts and occasional Saturdays. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sun Prairie, WI. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $22.12 - $22.12/hr.
