Job Description

Join our team as a Picker and Packer where you will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. Your responsibilities will include securing and assembling boxes for packaging, ensuring proper rotation of products, and utilizing handheld RF scanners and packaging materials. You will operate automatic packaging machines and verify quantities, lots, and expiration dates. We value cleanliness and safety, and you'll be expected to uphold these standards. This role requires flexibility, including availability to work overtime and weekends.

ResponsibilitiesPerform all work in a safe manner; promote and foster a safe work environment.Secure and assemble boxes for packaging.Ensure proper rotation of products.Utilize handheld RF scanners and packaging materials.Operate automatic packaging machines.Verify quantities, lots, and expiration dates.Maintain a clean and safe work environment.Be available to work overtime, including weekends.Perform all other tasks as assigned by management.Essential SkillsAttention to detail.Reliability and punctuality.Cross-trainable for picker and stacker position.Inventory management.Additional Skills & QualificationsAbility to read and interpret documents such as operating instructions and procedure manuals.Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division).Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions in various forms.Problem-solving skills with concrete variables in standardized situations.Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.Physical ability to stand/walk for extended periods and perform repetitive movements.Must be eighteen years of age.Ability to lift 50lbs packages.Effective oral and written communication skills in English.Why Work Here?

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
