Sanford Women’s Health is looking to add a BE/BC
REI to join the group.
• Join a successful group of 1 REI physician and 2
APP’s, supported by well-trained staff
• Physician will have a full-time practice and continue
to expand the program through outreach in Rapid
City, South Dakota
• Over 940 patients a month are seen, with the
number continuing to grow
• The practice is supported by the OB-GYNs, MFM’s,
and Neonatology in the on-site Level IV NICU
• IVF call is 1:1 taken one week at a time and traditional
call is 1:4, shared with APP’s
• High complexity, advanced reproductive medicine
lab on site
• Ultrasound (AIUM accredited) and Procedure rooms
in clinic
• Genetic counselors, Behavioral Health Therapists and
Integrative Health Therapist support the practice

Job Description

Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility Core Privileges include the ability to perform history and physical examination, admit, and/or provide outpatient evaluation, consultation, and treatment of adult patients and adolescents presenting with problems with fertility or female patients of all ages presenting with problems of reproductive hormones, such as ovulation induction, hirsutism, amenorrhea, and hyperprolactinemia.

Qualifications

M.D. or D.O. degree.

Experience can be demonstrated in one of the following ways: An applicant who has just completed fellowship shall provide his/her fellowship logs. OR An applicant who is not applying directly out of a fellowship shall provide a quality profile from hospital(s) where he/she currently has privileges showing his/her clinical activity for the past 24 months, including numbers of procedures morbidity, mortality, infection rates and other complications. Applicant must be able to demonstrate active involvement in the clinical aspects of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility in the past 24 months including the management of 25 patient cases, with satisfactory quality data as measured by the hospital’s defined quality review system. OR If a quality profile is not available from the hospital(s) where the applicant currently has privileges, documentation of the applicant’s clinical activity for the past 24 months is required. Applicant must be able to demonstrate active involvement in the clinical aspects of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility in the past 24 months including the management of 25 patient cases, with satisfactory quality data as measured by the hospital’s defined quality review system. More education and experience may be required the more advanced the practice becomes.

Successful completion of an Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency program and a 3-year Fellowship program in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility accredited by the ACGME, the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) or the Royal College of Physician and Surgeons of Canada. The Credentials Committee; Physician Executive or Medical Affairs Committee; and the Board of Directors or the Board of Governors may consider training at residency and fellowship programs accredited by organizations other than the above. Certification by the appropriate specialty board of the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS), the American Osteopathic Association (AOA), or the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, as applicable. Those applicants who are not board certified at the time of application but who have completed their residency training within the last five years shall be eligible, however must achieve board certification within five years from the date of completion of their residency training unless the appropriate governing Board waives such requirement.
