Physician Assistant - Surgical Oncology - MG

Position Responsibilities

Includes but is not limited to

Provide comprehensive outpatient care for patients with benign and malignant breast conditionsManage patients across the continuum of care, including diagnosis, treatment, and survivorshipPerform pre-operative evaluations and provide patient education and counselingConduct in-office procedures, including incision and drainage (I&D) and breast aspirationScreen high-risk patients and facilitate genetic testing and counseling referralsCounsel patients on breast cancer risk reduction strategies and chemoprevention optionsCoordinate referrals to supportive services, including lymphedema therapy and physical therapyCollaborate closely with a multidisciplinary care team to ensure high-quality, coordinated careMaintain accurate and timely clinical documentationFirst assist in the operating room may be required

 

 

 

Position Experience Required

Prefer experience in surgical oncology or breast surgery 

 

 

 

Position Qualifications (details here or list below)

-Master’s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.

-Current certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).

-Active and unrestricted PA license in NJ

-DEA & NJ Controlled Dangerous Substance (CDS) license
