U.S. Got People (USGP) is seeking a qualified Physician Assistant to provide high-quality healthcare services to active-duty service members, veterans, and their families at Naval Branch Health Clinic Jacksonville. Position Details:

Education: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institutionLicense: Current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice as a Physician Assistant in any U.S. state or territoryCertifications Required:National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)Basic Life Support (BLS) – American Heart Association or Red CrossAdvanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) – required for Emergency Medicine practiceExperience: Minimum of one year of full-time experience within the past three years in an occupational medicine or similar clinical settingImmunization Requirements (Must be current or able to obtain):
Hepatitis B (series and titer)Tdap (Tetanus, Diphtheria, Pertussis)MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella)Varicella (Chickenpox)TB (Tuberculosis) testSeasonal Influenza (flu) vaccineCOVID-19 vaccine (if applicable)Key Responsibilities May Include:
Deliver a full scope of Physician Assistant services in primary and specialty care, including acute, chronic, and preventive healthcareEvaluate, diagnose, and treat patients across all organ systems; perform physical exams, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and prescribe medications within scopeProvide medical care for acute and chronic conditions, minor trauma, and recognize emergent conditions requiring immediate intervention or referralPromote wellness and preventive care through patient education, health screenings, immunizations, and counselingCollaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and healthcare teams to ensure coordinated and comprehensive careParticipate in continuing medical education, in-service training, and quality improvement initiativesMaintain clinical documentation in compliance with Military Treatment Facility standards and electronic health recordsStay informed about the MTF formulary and prescribe medications in accordance with approved protocolsWhy Join USGP?
