Responsibilities

Deliver evidence-based, hands-on physical therapy to medically complex patients recovering from serious illness, injury, or surgeryCollaborate closely with physicians, nurses, respiratory therapists, and the interdisciplinary care team to implement and adjust individualized rehabilitation plansAssess patient mobility, strength, endurance, and functional capacity, and develop targeted treatment strategies to maximize recovery and independenceEducate patients and caregivers on mobility techniques, fall prevention, and safe discharge planning to promote long-term outcomesAccurately document patient progress and treatment effectiveness in compliance with facility policies, regulatory standards, and professional best practices
Qualifications

Qualifications

Active Physical Therapist license in Louisiana1+ year of acute care, ICU, or LTAC experience strongly preferredBLS requiredStrong clinical judgment and a commitment to excellence in patient careCompassionate, team-oriented mindset
