DESCRIPTIONResponsible for the treatment of residents with noted disorders or deficits within Physical Therapy scope of practice upon receiving physician order and completion of evaluationOptimize the functionality and skills of patientsResponsible for the objective screening of residentsCompletes all necessary documentationCollaborate with supervising PT developing programs appropriate to the needs of facility residents while fulfilling PTA/PT co-signature and supervision requirementsAttend all required meetings including care planning, staff meetings, family meetings, etcAssist the facility in meeting the standards necessary to obtain state and federal certification while following OBRA Resident Right GuidelinesFollow facility infection control policies and proceduresComplete all other tasks that are deemed appropriate for the role and assigned by the manager/supervisor

REQUIRED SKILLSEffective written and verbal communication skillsAbility to maintain professionalism in all situationsAbility to clinically collaborate and accept feedback & direction from Physical TherapistPhysical Demands: Required to perform a variety of duties relative to the job, some of which require a moderate to heavy category of physical demand
