Sentara Therapy Center Reid Prospect is hiring a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) in Woodbridge, Virginia.

This is a Full-Time, Day shift opportunity

There is flexibility work a 36-hour or a 40-hour weekly.

The 40-hour work week would include 4 hours on Sat from 8 am - 12 pm)

Overview:

Administer physical therapy treatments and procedures under supervision of a physical therapist.May assist in the development of treatment plans, carry out routine functions, and document the progress of treatment within the scope of treatment plans established by a physical therapist.Provides age-appropriate education for clients and caregivers.Supervise and assume responsibility for care provided by identified team members.

Education:

Associate Level Degree in Physical Therapy Assistant (Required)

Certification:

Basic Life Support (BLS) - Certification - American Heart Association (AHA) RQIAmerican Heart Association (AHA) RQIAmerican Heart Association (AHA) RQI
