DESCRIPTIONResponsible for the treatment of residents with noted disorders or deficits within Physical Therapy scope of practice upon receiving physician order and completion of evaluationOptimize the functionality and skills of patientsCompletes all necessary documentationCollaborate with supervising PT developing programs appropriate to the needs of facility residents while fulfilling PTA/PT co-signature and supervision requirementsAttend all required meetings including care planning, staff meetings, family meetings, etc.Assist the facility in meeting the standards necessary to obtain state and federal certification while following OBRA Resident Right GuidelinesFollow facility infection control policies and proceduresComplete all other tasks that are deemed appropriate for the role and assigned by the manager/supervisorREQUIRED SKILLSEffective written and verbal communication skillsAbility to maintain professionalism in all situationsAbility to clinically collaborate and accept feedback & direction from Physical TherapistREQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONSCompletion of Physical Therapist Assistant ProgramState Licensure
