Become part of our team and join our mission to make life healthier for everyone in our community! **Clinic Background** This position is based in a hospital‑based outpatient neurologic rehabilitation clinic with a strong focus on complex, specialty care. The clinic offers advanced expertise in vestibular rehabilitation, assistive technology, wheelchair seating and mobility, and neurologic and geriatric physical therapy, supported by clinicians with specialty certifications including Neurologic Clinical Specialist (NCS), Geriatric Clinical Specialist (GCS), Assistive Technology Professional (ATP), and Wheelchair Seating and Mobility Specialist (SMS). Care is delivered through a highly collaborative multidisciplinary team, including physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech‑language pathologists, rehabilitation counseling, physicians, and rehabilitation psychology. The clinic serves a diverse neurologic population, including but not limited to patients with stroke, spinal cord injury, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, muscular dystrophy, peripheral neuropathies, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), cerebral palsy, Ehlers‑Danlos syndrome, autonomic disorders, traumatic brain injury, vestibular disorders, neuro‑oncology, myopathies, spinal muscular atrophy, functional neurologic disorders, and individuals requiring complex wheelchair seating and mobility services. **PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES** Under general supervision, this individual will assess, plan, administer, evaluate and provide safe physical therapy care.  This will include progression of treatment goals and patient and family education.  The PT will assess and treat a patient caseload ranging from routine to complex patient problems and situations.  Collaborate with other disciplines as appropriate to coordinate continuity of patient care.  Implement treatment programs, which include the use of physical agents, manual therapy, therapeutic exercise and functional training.  Instruct, assign work and evaluate students as assigned by supervisor. This position provides opportunities to work with skilled competent therapists, ready and willing to teach new clinicians.  The department is team oriented and a dynamic workgroup willing to help each other.  Values team communication, motivated to reach to a higher level of care for patients.  Works closely with physicians, nurses and other disciplines who value Physical Therapy skills and their contributions to the team. **REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS** Current Washington State license to practice as a Physical Therapist. A Bachelor’s degree from a recognized school of physical therapy, or completion of a Physical Therapy program and one year relevant experience. OR Equivalent education/experience. **Desired Qualifications** Experience treating patients with neurologic dysfunction in an outpatient setting. Eighteen months or more of clinical experience in the practice of physical therapy. Certification as a Neurologic Clinical Specialist (NCS) or demonstrated experience in neurologic physical therapy. Experience with complex wheelchair seating and positioning.
