We are seeking a skilled and dependable Phlebotomist I to join our Family Medicine team in Washington, DC. This role is ideal for a professional who is confident with blood draws, including hard sticks, and experienced in specimen processing. You'll work in a supportive clinical environment with consistent weekday hours—no nights or weekends!

🔑 Key ResponsibilitiesPerform venipuncture and capillary blood draws with accuracy and confidenceHandle hard-to-find veins and difficult sticks independentlyProcess specimens according to established protocolsMaintain cleanliness and sterility of the phlebotomy areaVerify patient identity and ensure proper labeling of all samplesSupport clinical operations with professionalism and strong patient care skillsFollow all safety, compliance, and infection control guidelines🎯 QualificationsMinimum 2 years of professional phlebotomy experienceStrong experience with hard sticks is requiredKnowledge of specimen handling and processing proceduresExcellent communication and patient interaction skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced family medicine settingCertified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) preferred, not required
