Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Phlebotomist I to join our team in Port Royal. As a Phlebotomist, you will perform blood collections and handle specimen processing, ensuring superior customer service to all patients. You will work in a high-volume environment, requiring both technical and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol tests.Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.Maintain patient and specimen information logs.Provide superior customer service to all patients.Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary.Travel to additional sites when needed.

Essential Skills

Phlebotomy expertise with 1-2 years of recent experience.Capability of managing 25+ patient draws per day.Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency is preferred.Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service.

Work Environment

This position is based in a high-volume diagnostic laboratory. The work hours are from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday. The role requires dependable transportation for potential travel to additional sites. Employees are expected to provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Port Royal, SC.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $18.75/hr.
