Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Phlebotomist to join our team in Mount Pleasant. This role involves performing blood collections and specimen handling across various age groups, ensuring accuracy and providing excellent customer service. Join us and contribute to a nationally renowned diagnostic laboratory.
Responsibilities
Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol tests.Accurately and efficiently enter patient information into the system.Process billing information and collect payments as required.Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.Essential Skills
1-2 years of recent Phlebotomy experience.Ability to handle 25+ patient drawsAdditional Skills & Qualifications
Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency is preferred.Previous experience as a phlebotomist.Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.Ability to work independently or as part of a team.Comfortable working under minimal supervision.Work Environment
The work environment is within a diagnostic laboratory setting at LC PSC, with hours from 7 AM to 4 PM, Monday to Friday
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mount Pleasant, SC.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $16.00 - $18.75/hr.
