Job Title: PhlebotomistJob Description

As a Phlebotomist, you will work in a back-office setting, managing 10-20 patients per day. This role involves a medium-paced environment where you will handle everything from blood draws to full processing independently.

ResponsibilitiesPerform venipuncture procedures and blood draws.Collect and prepare specimens for processing.Spin and centrifuge specimens as required.Freeze or send out samples as necessary.Update patient charts and perform data entry.Verify billing and insurance information.Essential SkillsProficient in phlebotomy and venipuncture.Experience in processing samples including spinning, centrifuging, and refrigerating.At least 1 year of experience in phlebotomy and sample processing.Completed Phlebotomy schooling.Additional Skills & QualificationsPhlebotomy Certification is preferred.Experience with computer systems such as Atlas and Sunquest.Friendly and outgoing personality.Work Environment

This position involves working the first shift, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. You will typically be the only person on-site, allowing for independent work and the ability to establish your own workflow. The role provides a unique opportunity to be hands-on with patients and engage deeply with the lab side of operations, unlike many phlebotomy positions. Additionally, you will have the chance to make a meaningful impact on the work environment and the care provided.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lima, OH.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $20.00/hr.
