Schedule: M-F / 5:30am - 2:30pm
Job Duties: Float to a nursing homes in Johnson City - mileage is paid at government rate!
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Phlebotomist to provide services across nursing homes in the Johnson City, TN area. While your home base will be at the medical technology park, you will primarily report there for assignments and coordination.
Responsibilities
+ Perform 15-35 blood draws per day using various techniques.
+ Utilize 25, 23, and 21 gauge needles with butterflies and straight sticks.
+ Provide care and attention to geriatric patients.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in phlebotomy techniques.
+ Ability to perform multiple blood draws efficiently and safely.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience working with geriatric patients is preferred.
+ Phlebotomy certification is not required but beneficial.
Work Environment
This position involves traveling to nursing homes and working in an office setting. You will be interacting with patients primarily within these facilities, ensuring their comfort and safety during procedures.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Johnson City, TN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
