Job Title: Phlebotomist - PSC

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Phlebotomist to join our team at a patient service center. The role involves drawing patients' blood, processing specimens, and ensuring accurate data entry into our computer system. You will be responsible for the collection and receipt of biological specimens, preparation for analytical testing, and distribution to the appropriate analytical area. This position also requires conducting specified analytical tests and adhering to the Code of Conduct.

Responsibilities

Draw blood from patients and perform specimen processing.Collect and receive biological specimens into the department.Ensure proper entry of specimen data into the computer system.Prepare samples for analytical testing and distribute to the appropriate areas.Perform specified analytical testing as assigned.Follow the guidelines of the Code of Conduct.

Essential Skills

Proficiency in blood draw and specimen collection.Experience in laboratory and phlebotomy procedures.Familiarity with specimen processing.Ability to provide excellent patient care.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

6 months to 1 year of prior phlebotomy experience is preferred.Must be comfortable working in a team environment.GED or high school diploma required.

Work Environment

The position is based in a patient service center located in Scottsdale, AZ. The work hours are 6 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Friday. You will work alongside two or more phlebotomists. The location is ideally suited for candidates living within 15 to 20 miles. The company offers significant growth opportunities, including a career ladder and potential for promotion to Phleb Tech 2 after six months, with a corresponding pay increase.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Scottsdale, AZ.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.36/hr.
